We actively promote the 9 Protected Characteristics (Age, Disability, Gender Reassignment, Marriage/Civil Partnership, Pregnancy/Maternity, Race, Religion/Belief, Sex, and Sexual Orientation) through our RHE curriculum and school ethos.

Our Equality Objectives (2024–2028)

Every four years, we set specific targets to promote equality:

1. Narrowing the Gap: To ensure that all groups of pupils make at least expected progress, particularly those in vulnerable groups.

2. Inclusive Curriculum: To ensure the Wincham curriculum represents a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds, and abilities.

3. Community Cohesion: To celebrate a variety of religious and cultural festivals across the school year to foster mutual respect.

Accessibility 

We are dedicated to ensuring our school building and curriculum are accessible to everyone. Our Accessibility Plan outlines how we improve access for disabled pupils over time.
