Design and Technology

In this subject the children have the opportunity to develop their skills in:-

• Designing
• Communicating
• Making
• Testing
• Evaluating

The  children are encouraged to go further than the first ideas they had and seek alternatives so that they may more effectively influence and control the environment in which they live.

Here we are very fortunate in that we do own a plentiful supply of tools and resources with which the children may pursue their ideas.

Problem solving is integral to the work presented to the children so that answers to problems are not given but discovered and tested.
